Grain King paddock solutions have always been at the forefront of the industry in terms of design and innovation. As a growing company, we believe it is important to invest in innovation that delivers efficiency, which is why we are unveiling the next generation of Grain King machinery with our top of the line 36 tonne track chaser bin complete with a 24-inch unloading auger.
Cunderdin farmers Cody and Tim Fulwood visited the Grain King manufacturing facility while the 36-tonne bin was in production. Cody Fulwood is very enthusiastic about the future of Grain King machines, “bringing in these top of the line tracks and increasing their auger size shows that Trufab understands the issues facing farmers. We spend a lot of time and resources on mouldboarding and deep ripping, and don’t want to go back at harvest time and undo all the work.” The Camso tracks on the new bin design are highly sought after with a design to achieve minimal compaction and ultimate floatation.
As many farmers make the significant investment to enrich their dirt through mouldboarding, spading, deep ripping, compaction becomes a pressing issue. Ultimately a field trial of the Camso tracks versus flotation tyres yielded incredible results of a 5% financial gain overall per acre through increased water absorption, a larger and healthier root system, a more consistent seed depth, a 53% reduction in ground pressure and 20% less soil compaction. Grain King decided Camso would be the perfect company to partner with as they are also leaders in their field.
“Grain King is the market leader, and we like to shop local, it’s great WA farmers have access to such an innovative company right in our backyard,” say Tim Fulwood. They appreciate the Grain King products are the market leader renowned for a high-quality finish, great resale value, and are extremely durable. Australian made, for Australian Conditions.
